The Challenge
Managing a customer base of 45,000 clients and generating around 20,000 quotes a year is a Herculean task for SPIE GmbH, one that their existing mySAP CRM could no longer handle. A new customer management system was needed to provide sales staff with comprehensive information about each customer and quote quickly and clearly, and from anywhere.
The Intrexx solution
Utilizing the low-code platform Intrexx, SPIE GmbH developed their own extranet, enabling them to provide quotes to their customers with just a few clicks and efficiently manage customer data. This web-based sales portal consolidates all previously used programs in one place and is also accessible on the go.
I'm convinced the future of customer management definitely lies in portal solutions. Simply because a portal solution like Intrexx offers so many more possibilities. We would definitely do everything exactly the same way again!

Custom CRM system.
Thanks to Intrexx, SPIE GmbH created an individual CRM system that significantly simplifies capturing and searching customer data in different phases of the quote process. The entire lifecycle of a quote can be tracked in the system thanks to low-code. Quote overviews and individual reports can be created in no time.
Integration of the existing SAP system.
The existing SAP system was easily integrated into Intrexx. Using the SAP connector, Intrexx can read and write SAP data. Customer data and quotes can thus be seamlessly depicted. Thanks to low-code, the entire quote creation process chain is interconnected and automated. Since the solution with Intrexx is web-based, it ensures a uniform level of information throughout the company.
